Mrs. Sara has been an amazing instructor and her passion for what she does clearly shows in her work. She listens to her students input and centers her classes around what they are interested in.  Ukulele has become an outlet for my daughter when she is frustrated, feeling down, or just wants to jam and have fun.  With Mrs. Sara's help and encouragement, my daughter is often times challenging herself to learn new songs and better her skills on her free time.  She always looks forward to the time she has with Mrs. Sara and strives "to be as good as her someday".

Sara has been wonderful to work with from day 1!  My daughter originally began working with her after school with a group of elementary school friends and quickly picked up a love of ukelele.  Sara was so patient as well as educational to the kids.  She held a recital with the group to showcase what the kids had learned over the previous months and it was fun to see the progress they had made.  The smiles on their faces were priceless!  Sara is passionate about her hobby and loves sharing her love of music with the kids.  I feel so proud and overjoyed when I hear her playing in her room at random times!  We moved out of the area shortly after lessons began and Sara has been kind enough to allow my daughter to join in on their Zoom lessons and it's been wonderful to see the collaboration between the kids online.  Thank you Sara-I can't thank you enough for bringing your gift to the kids!

Coming from a family of uke players, I’ve always felt intimidated, yet Sara has given me confidence to learn as an adult. I played along with Saras after school Uke Club and helped her get the kids fingers on the right strings. It’s been amazing to see how she’s held her students together and progress as we’ve been forced into online format. However, this also provides a tremendous opportunity for families around the state, and world to participate as it’s more available to folks that are limited for travel to weekly classes whether due to distance/expense or schedules, and also helps those that just don’t have access to local music programs!!!! I personally was traveling 1 hour each way to participate in Uke Club, and I’m now able to participate from home or while on the road for my work travel.... I have family in WA state eager to sign up too!
