I started Uke Club in September of 2018 as a free after-school program for all kids in Mammoth (and their parents!) to learn to play the Ukulele.

My husband Neil and I had the idea of starting Uke Club over the Summer of 2018 and the Library has been amazing in letting us use their space.  I am so excited that there is so much interest from the kids!

I think that having music as a tool when you are growing up is so important.  Music helps your brain, emotions, and so much more.  Also, I don't want to "price any one out" I want this available to all, no matter your financial situation.  I want to keep it simple and fun. IF you would like to make a donation, please consider joining MUSES (Music Society of the Eastern Sierra). They are so instrumental (pun intended) in bringing music to our kids, and has helped support Uke Club by making sure we always have Ukuleles on hand to loan the kids.  Or you can make a donation to the Library which is allowing us to use their space with no charge.  I have links to both of these on the Uke Club home page.
